In October 2025, we had the incredible privilege of hosting In the Name of Pink, our very first event dedicated to breast cancer awareness in The Hague. What started as a heartfelt idea quickly became a powerful and memorable gathering, and for us as organisers, it was both exciting and deeply meaningful to see it come to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the moment guests arrived, there was a genuine sense of warmth and shared purpose in the room. Women from diverse backgrounds came together to learn more about breast health, early detection, and the importance of speaking openly about breast cancer. The conversations were honest, thoughtful, and at times emotional, which is exactly the kind of dialogue we hoped to create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We poured intention into every detail. We wanted the atmosphere to feel welcoming, elegant, and safe, a space where women could not only receive important health information but also feel uplifted. We strongly believe that when women look good, feel good, and are empowered, they are more confident in taking charge of their wellbeing and supporting one another. That belief shaped the tone and experience of the entire event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the most rewarding aspects was witnessing the connections that formed throughout the day. Attendees engaged openly, asked questions, shared personal reflections, and stayed long after sessions ended to continue conversations. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly encouraging. Many expressed appreciation for having a platform where women\u2019s health could be discussed without stigma, in a setting that felt both professional and personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hosting \u201cIn the Name of Pink\u201d was a milestone for us. It confirmed that there is a real need (and enthusiasm) for accessible, community-driven women\u2019s health initiatives in The Hague. More than anything, it reminded us why we began: to create spaces where women look good, feel good, and are empowered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looking back, we are proud of what that first event represented. It was the start of something bigger than a single gathering; it was the foundation of a growing commitment to educate, empower, and continue advancing conversations around women\u2019s health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
