Our Why

‘In the Name Of‘ is a transformative event series by Law and Beauty designed to move empowerment beyond the mirror and into meaningful action. Rooted in the belief that when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you lead boldly, this experience bridges confidence with conversation.

Through personal conversations, interactive teaching sessions, and collaborative learning spaces, In the Name Of brings together guests, community members, and leaders to confront real feminine health and wellbeing issues, uncover systemic gaps, and seek tangible solutions. We create space not just to inspire, but to inform, equipping guests with knowledge, perspective, and practical tools to influence change within their spheres.

In the Name of P!NK

The maiden edition of the In the Name of series was In the Name of P!NK an intimate gathering in honour of breast cancer awareness month. The session boasted medical expertise from Dr. Nora Larbi, survivor perspectives from Irene Agyeman-Hin and Kira Samana, and an empowering encouragement from Clary Scheres, founder of ProudBreast. There were tears, cheers, and a lot of notes taken during the event, and we promised to be back with a sequel shortly. On that note, we are pleased to announce In the Name of BLOOM!

In the Name of BLOOM

In the Name of BLOOM is a carefully curated gathering created to foster thoughtful, informed conversations around womb health. Building on the commitment shared during In the Name of P!NK, this event honours International Women’s Day by opening space to explore topics often left unspoken, including endometriosis, what a period ‘should’ look like, fertility challenges, and menopause.

The day promises to be educational, empowering, and exciting; we look forward to seeing you there!

At In the Name of BLOOM, Law and Beauty continues its mission of creating intentional spaces where women can learn, connect, and feel empowered about their health and wellbeing, openly, honestly, and without judgment.
